BEHIND THE SCENES WITH GRAHAM ROBINSON

Born and raised along the woods and estuaries of the Tomoka state park, Graham Robinson was surely inundated with the Soul Rock and Roll Power that the Allman brothers, Tom Petty and other musical visionaries from the surrounding area were possessed by. Playing with local blues and rock bands from the age of 12, he would join the renowned Spruce Creek High-school Jazz Ensemble and burgeon from there. Attending Florida State University, under the tutelage of Rodney Jordan, Leon Anderson and Marcus Roberts, Graham would formulate an identity and style that is refined yet exuberant. Shortly after graduating, New Orleans would beckon. Engineering and performing on numerous records at the (ain’t dere no more) Fudge Recording Studio, diversity of styles would prove to be an asset for Robinson. He continues to work recording and composing for film, and as a session artist specializing on bass, guitar, banjo, and mandolin.

You can catch Graham live in person, as he currently is performing with artists as diverse as Zachary Richard, Raw Oyster Cult (members of the Radiators), John Gros (of Papa Grows Funk), Daria and the Hip Drops, the Morning Life, the Tanglers Bluegrass Band, Susan Cowsill, and the Charles Brewer Trio.
